Logline:
1899 Texas; a grieving widow forced to take over the family ranch while raising her children, battles a prominent landowner and his band of outlaws who try to run her out of town. When Audrey is challenged with the safety of her two children, she forms an uneasy alliance with a rival rancher’s son.
Why Unbridled Courage
There is no doubt that the Western genre is in a resurgence.
We want to make a film that will show the untold story of the Old West and excite a new generation of fans.
Although classics like “True Grit”, “The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly”, and “Once Upon a Time in the West” remain some of our favorite films, tales of female heroism often fade into the background of history books and Hollywood films in service of male centeredness. Unbridled Courage helps redefine the genre by exploring the lives of women in the American West.
We plan to shoot in the summer of 2024 in Texas, with an anticipated release date of March 2025.
We are raising $50,000 in Development Funds
We're on a mission to raise $50,000 to cover production essentials and bring this poignant tale to the big screen. Every contribution brings us closer to sharing this compelling story with audiences worldwide.
Here’s what your contributions will help us achieve:
A talented casting director can make or break a film. Your support will enable us to hire one of the industry's best, ensuring we bring together a cast that resonates with audiences and critics alike.
Bringing A-List Stars Onboard
Imagine watching your favorite A-list actors bring complex, unforgettable characters to life. With your help, we can secure the high-caliber talent that will elevate our film to new heights.
Hiring an Entertainment Attorney
Navigating the legal landscape of the film industry requires expertise. The funds will help us bring an experienced entertainment attorney on board to manage contracts, protect our intellectual property, and ensure smooth operations.
Brand Integration
To add a layer of realism and authenticity, we aim to integrate carefully selected brands into our film. This funding will allow us to collaborate with brands that enhance the narrative without compromising artistic integrity.
The more you donate, the bigger the rewards!
We are eternally grateful for any amount because it all helps and we also know that with inflation and coming out of the pandemic, times are hard.
